MOGUL MOWGLI starring Riz Ahmed (“The Sound of Metal”) received its World Premiere at the Berlin Film Festival on February 21st 2020, where it was awarded the International Critics Prize (FIPRESCI). Directed by Bassam Tariq and written by Tariq & Riz Ahmed, the film follows Zed (Riz Ahmed) a young British rapper, about to embark on his first world tour when a crippling illness strikes and he is forced to move back in with his family. He begins to struggle to find his place in the world, torn between an international music career and the traditions of his conservative Pakistani parents.
